Sarvesh Kumar Srivastava, Ph.D.
"I believe in diverse teams for innovative solutions. Our lab environment fosters teamwork, quality mentorship, and empowers students to pursue their goals. Supporting their research and growth is central to my mission."
Group Leader & Asst. Professor, CBME, IIT-Delhi.
We investigate, design, and develop microscale tools and biochemical techniques for probing and modulating complex biological environments, like the gastrointestinal tract.
Our research focuses on uncovering novel biological principles and physical properties that emerge from the interactions between living cells, including mammalian cells and microbes, and their microenvironment. We achieve this by developing & employing molecular biology, nano/microfabrication techniques, and enzymatic/chemical approaches.
Research focus: Metabolic engineering, Biointerfaces, Medicinal chemistry, Oral drug delivery, Soft materials/hydrogels, Microfabrication/3D printing.
We are currently accepting applications from Masters thesis projects and Ph.D students. Interested? Drop me an email with 1 page CV at firstname.lastname@example.org
